He drilled a low shot into the back of the net after connecting with Harold Moukoudiβs pass. The 29 year old has now scored 5 goals in the first 3 matches of AFCON 2021.
Eight minutes after halftime, substitute Garry Rodrigues drew Cape Verde π¨π» level with an exceptional back heel. Despite the efforts from the hosts, they could not find the goal to secure all three points as Cape Verde held on for a well-deserved point.

Ethiopia πͺπΉ was shown the exit door after a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso π§π« . Cyrille Bayala opened the scoring for Burkina Faso in the 24th minute.
Bayalaβs goal was cancelled out by a penalty where Ethiopian striker Getaneh Kebede scored. This earned his side their only point of the tournament. Burkina Faso will face the runners up in Group C in the next stage.
