AFCON has reached the semifinals after a few blowouts and one extra time winner from Egypt. The final four of the competition features a star-studded matchup between host Cameroon 🇨🇲 and Egypt 🇪🇬. The other showdown is with Senegal 🇸🇳 playing against Burkina Faso 🇧🇫.
The semifinals has a couple of interesting stories. Will Liverpool teammates Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah meet in the finals? Can Burkina Faso get to the final as big underdogs like they did in 2013? Can Cameroon win their title in their own country? This is going to be a very interesting and entertaining semifinal around.
Cameroon toughest match so far was against Burkina Faso in the group stage. Egypt faced the likes of Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Morocco.
Cameroon so far haven’t been tested that much. This semifinal is going to be a tough match for the host. Cameroon has a lot of talent on their squad with likes of Toko Ekambi and Vincent Aboubakar as an attacking pair. They have really shown a quality display throughout the Africa Cup of Nations.

Egypt will take on Cameroon on Thursday night while Burkina Faso will face Senegal on Wednesday night. What an entertaining semifinal it will be!
