Beyonce marked her return on stage for the very first time in 4 years and her performance was show stopping as she took the stage with her first-born daughter Blue Ivy in an exclusive private invite only concert at the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai on Saturday.
The performance was only for the chosen few and was so private that the attendees were not allowed to take any pictures or videos of Bey as she entertained them. However, a few of the attendees failed to honor her request and captured the moment on their cell phones.
Beyonce started off her electrifying performance with Etta James’ ‘At Last’, followed with XO and followed by 16 other singles. However, tracks from her latest album ‘Renaissance’ did not make it to the performance, probably because she is set to go on tour this year.
In attendance was her husband Jay-Z, her three children; Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir Carter, her mother Tina Knowles and her father Mathew Knowles. Other celebs who were present are Kendall Jenner, who launched her tequilla brand 818 in the United Arab Emirates, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Nia Long and Rebel Wilson.
Bey’s daughter Blue, performed ‘Brown Skin’ girl, from the album ‘Lion King’ where she danced and sang next to her mother before blowing a kiss and strutting of the stage.
The ‘Renaissance’ hit maker performed in Dubai as part of Atlantis’ “Grand Reveal” weekend celebration of the new Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, which is set to open next month.
