Burkina Faso π§π« advanced to the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations as they defeated Tunisia πΉπ³ 1-0 in an end to end encounter in Garoua.
After an open 45 minutes, the stallions took the lead with the last kick of the first half, courtesy of a fine individual effort from Dango Ouattara to grab his first international goal. Hero Ouattara turned villain eight minutes from time when a yellow card for elbowing Ali Maaloul was changed to a red after the Botswana referee checked the touchline VAR monitor.

Burkina Faso, who are ranked 60th in the world, have won all four AFCON quarters they have ever played.
Itβs the third time in the last five editions of the continental championship that Burkina Faso have got to the semi-finals and they will next take on winners of Sundayβs quarter finals in YaoundΓ© between Senegal and Equatorial Guinea.
