Chris Rock has found a way of turning the unfortunate incident at the Oscars between him and Will Smith into a profitable one by making money to tell his side of the story.
The comedian who is fully aware that people are eager to hear his side of the story revealed to his audience while performing in California that he will not speak further about the Oscars slap unless he gets compensated for it.
“I’m OK, I have a whole show, and I’m not talking about that until I get paid. Life is good. I got my hearing back,” said Rock.
Rock who received yet another standing ovation made it clear to the audience as soon as the show began in order for him to shut down any possible hope the audience may have had of him finally opening up about the incident.
According to TMZ, he could possibly be waiting to sue Will Smith in order for him to get compensated but he reportedly decided not to press charges at The Academy Awards despite the police being on standby that night.
Reports also claim that Rock has been approached by different TV networks who want him to talk about the incident but seeing as he has not, it is possible that he has not been offered enough money.
