Aubrey Drake Graham has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus and will not be performing at the Young Money Reunion show.
The ‘Falling Back’ hitmaker shared the devastating news on Monday via his Instagram stories, revealing that the Young Money show that was set to take place on Monday would be postponed and the new dates would be communicated as soon as possible.
“Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the covid),” he said.
Drake was set to perform alongside Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj in Toronto at Budweiser Stage as part of the rapper’s October Word Weekend festival, which was scheduled to run from July 28 to August 1.
The festival which began on last Thursday, saw Drake bring out musical sensation Nelly Furtado, and the crowd was here for it as they went wild.
“I don’t care how loud you sang tonight, right now, I need you to sing as loud as you can because this right here took a lot… This next person’s changed my life so much, I love her so much,” he introduced her.
The singer hit the stage after five years and she performed her hit songs ‘Promiscuous’ and ‘Like a Bird’ together with Drake.
