Manchester City have have accepted personal terms with Norwegian striker, Eirling Haaland, Daily Mail UK reports.
It is believed that Manchester City have agreed a 5 year deal with the 21 year old striker who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund.
The move is expected to be signed in the next few weeks will see the young striker, earn $647,000 (€600,000) a week, to become the highest paid player in the English Premier League.
This move will see the citizens become a force to reckon with in the Premier league as the team needed a lethal striker.
Manchester City are only one point ahead of close rivals Liverpool, who have their eyes fixed on a quadruple title ( FA cup, Premier league, Carabao cup and the Champions League) this season.
Haaland is prolific striker as his stats speak on his behalf. Across all competitions, the Norwegian made 41 appearances and scored 41 times in 40 starts. He has 10 assists, giving him 51 goal involvements over the season. Haaland had 27 goals in the from 28 games in 27 starts, with six assists in the Bundesliga.
His season at Dortmund started on a high note from Redbull Salzburg as the the young player netted 3 times in his debut against FC Augsburg on 18 January 2020, after being introduced onto the pitch as a second half substitute. This made him only the second player after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score three goals on their Bundesliga debut for the German club in history.
