Fenty Beauty has finally joined the African market and the whole continent has been raving about it ever since the multi-million-dollar company announced the good news.

Fenty launched in eight different countries: Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The event was filled with music, dance, live performances, fashion and of course make up. In South Africa and Nigeria, the attendees showed up and showed out in their glamorous outfits. There were live make up stations where the girlies could get their make up done as well as fun games that saw many win free make up.

However, Zimbabwe’s launch did not meet many people’s expectations as it did not have social media influencers, make up artists or skin care gurus. It was launched by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa and her team.

The Zimbabwe launch disappointed many who described it as a political rally and not a fun filled event as there was no music and dancing.

Zimbabweans are however not the only people disappointed in the launch as Kenyans too were extremely disappointed in the array of attendees for failing to dress up. They also expressed their concern in the invite list as many known make up and skin care gurus were not invited yet people who do not wear makeup were invited.
