Busiswe Lurayi, the lady who plays Tumi in Netflix’s comedy series ‘How to Ruin Christmas’, has passed on at the age of 36.
Her family released a statement revealing the sudden passing of their loved one. According to the statement, Busiswe was pronounced dead at her home on Sunday by medical personnel. The cause of her death is still unknown but her family has promised to share details once they have them.
“We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of our beloved Busiswe Lurayi. Busiswe passed away suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence on Sunday 10.07.2022 by medical personnel. The reason for her passing is still unknown as we await the results of the autopsy report,” read the statement.
Netflix South Africa also took to their official accounts to express their condolences as well as to honor the actress for playing a big role in the South African entertainment industry.
