South African TV mogul, Khany Mbau, is set to be the very first African female to be roasted on Comedy Central.
Khanyi will be roasted by various panelists from TBO Touch, Youngsta CPT, Celeste Ntuli who Khanyi describes as ‘brutal’ but nice, Selby Mkhize and Delvi Sankaree who Khanyi exclaimed asking if she is still alive.

“We’re excited to bring the laughs to Mzansi with our partners, Showmax for The Comedy Central Roast of Khanyi Mbau. After two years of the pandemic, we’re ready to feel the roasts and laugh in person and as such we’re committed to bringing the best in comic relief to African audiences,” said Dillon Khan, Vice President of Comedy Central Africa.

Khanyi seems to be very excited for her fans to see her on the show and also revealed that she fears nothing and is ready for the panelists to bring their A game forward.
“Who else but me? The first African female to be roasted by Comedy Central was only ever going to be me, even your favs could never,” said Khanyi.

Comedy Central Roast, is a show that features various celebrities such as musicians, actors and even comedians who appear as guests and are roasted by various panelists who also happen to be celebrities.
Khanyi will join the likes of rapper AKA, Kenny Kunene and Somizi Mhlongo who have also been featured on the roast show. The show is set to air on Showmax in August 2022.
