Producer and DJ Leland Leland ‘Metro Booming’ Tyler Wayne’s mother Leslie Joanne Wayne was allegedly murdered by her ex-husband (not Metro’s father) who then killed himself after committing the act.
The DJ learned of his mother’s demise on Saturday after the police found her body near Atlanta, Georgia.
The murder is suspected to have happened on Friday night and an autopsy is set to be conducted to verify her cause of death. Metro’s camp has however requested for privacy during this difficult time and also prayers for Metro and the rest of the family.
Metro is said to have had a very close relationship with his mother who supported him throughout his entire music career. She allegedly would even drive him around to meet other artistes when he was an adolescent.
Metro has worked with some of the biggest artistes in hip hop such as Future, Young Thug, Migos, 21 Savage and Gunna.
