Actor Morgan Freeman has been put on a list of 900 Americans permanently banned from entering Russia.
This comes following a video that Freeman released bashing the Russian government for getting involved in United States of America’s 2016 presidential elections.
The actor who is known as ‘The voice of God’, directed the video and narrated it. The video also features actor Rob Reiner who was also included in the list. It was then released a year after the elections.
Other notable names that appear on the banned list include President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg.
“In the context of response to the constantly imposed anti-Russian sanctions by the United States and in connection with incoming requests about the personal composition of our national ‘stop list’, the Russian Foreign Ministry publishes a list of American citizens who are permanently banned from entering the Russian Federation,” said Russia’s foreign ministry.
