QUAVO PAYS TRIBUTE TO TAKEOFF IN EMOTIONAL POST

Quavo Hunch, one third of the famous rap group Migos, has broken his silence and paid tribute to his late nephew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff.

Quavo posted a long tribute on his Instagram where he revealed that he has done virtually everything with Take since they grew up together.

“Since we were kids you been by my side looking up at me, them eyes waiting on me to make the next move..then you followed up right behind me,” read the post.

Quavo expressed that he always felt they were more than just uncle and nephew, but could not quite place his finger on what they could be, as they could not be brothers as his sister, is Take’s mother. However, he revealed that he finally gets what the 28-year-old rapper is to him, an angel.

“Now I finally get it…you are OUR angel watching me and watching us this whole time in living form making sure everyone FELT UR LOVE AND HUGS while u here and you made our dreams come true,” he added.

Takeoff’s homegoing funeral service was held last Friday in his hometown, Atlanta. The ceremony was held at the State Farm Arena which holds up to 20,000 people. His family gave his fans the unique opportunity to pay their final respect by giving free tickets to Atlanta residents.

Quavo and fellow Migos member, Offset paid their tributes to Takeoff as well as his mother and his brother.

Takeoff was shot dead in Texas, during a dice game that he attended with his uncle Quavo. Autopsy reports revealed that he was shot once in the head and in his arm.
