Tanzanian singer Rayvanny, has revealed that he paid a whooping $556,268 in order for him to terminate his contract with Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi Records.

The revelation came during an online feud between the BET award winner and singer Harmonize, who was his former signee. According to Rayvanny, Harmonize always complains about how he paid Diamond $256,739 yet he paid $556,268 and does not talk about it in the media.

“If you feel like I’m not making sense then go to Basata and ask, where have you heard of me discussing it? Money is nothing to me. Respect is what I value the most. If you see the day that I’ll discuss it then know I have not been given any respect,” said Rayvanny.

Rayvanny, left Wasafi Records in 2022, after being signed under the famous label for six years. The singer left in order for him to focus on his label, Next Level Music.

“It’s been six years since we started working together. My team, my family WCB Wasafi, love and unity has been very instrumental in the success of our team. I have learned a lot and also we have achieved a lot together,” he said.

During his time at Wasafi, he was able to win a BET Award in the Best International Act category. He was also the first East African singer to perform at the MTV Music Awards.

Harmonize left Wasafi Records back in 2019, citing conflict with the record label’s management team. He however parted with $256,739 in order for him to own exclusive rights to his own music.
