Columbian singer Shakira, is planning on leaving her hometown in Barcelona and relocate to Miami, amid her tax fraud allegations in Spain.
The ‘Wacka Wacka’ singer is facing a lot of personal problems in Spain, as she is currently going through a custody battle and break up with her long-term boyfriend and baby daddy Gerard Pique and is also facing up to eight years in prison in Spain.
According to sources that spoke to Page Six, the singer has a lot to fall back in Miami as not only does she have a waterfront mansion, she also has a handful of family and friends to lean on who will help her get through this tumultuous part of her life.
“Her parents live here, her brother lives here, her niece and nephew, too. She doesn’t have any family in Spain. It’s a different environment from Barcelona,” said Shakira’s family friend Ana Lourdes Martinez.
