Mr. Brian Thompson was the CEO of United Healthcare, a major health insurance company in United States.
As the world is fixated with Luigi’s alleged motivations and evil deeds, Mr. Thompson’s family and friends laid to rest his remains in a private ceremony last Thursday.
Mrs. Thompson, their two sons & the extended families will spend the rest of their lives without their loved one. 💔😥
Nicholas Mangiano, Louigi’s grandfather was a first-generation American who built a real estate empire in the state, including country clubs and media.
The Mangiones’ family released a statement expressing their devastation upon learning the news of the murder. “We only know what we have read in the media,” the Mangiones said. “Our family is shocked and devastated by Luigi’s arrest. We offer our prayers to the family of Brian Thompson and we ask people to pray for all involved.”
As alleged, he (Louigi’s grandparents) bequeathed his son, (Louigi’s father) & the family an estate through an established trust. The estate is estimated to be at the very least 30 million dollars to north of 100 million dollars. It is alleged that documents in the trustees possession state the trustees can withhold the money if the person who would receive it has been “charged, indicted, convicted of or pleads guilty to a felony.”
WHO IS LOUIGI MANGIONE?
Louigi, 26 years hails from an affluent American family, or what many would term as living the American dream.
Louigi went to an exclusive private school, Baltimore’s Gilman School and in 2016 graduated top of his class as a valedictorian.
Louigi is also an Ivy League school graduate (a school/ university of academic achievement & social prestige) – University of Pennsylvania, commonly referred to as UPenn with both a BS. & MS. in Computer Science and briefly worked as a computer engineer.
MEDICAL INSURANCE COMPANIES
Social media went abuzz upon learning the connection between Mr. Thompson’s murder and healthcare insurance coverage.
The bullet cartridges found at the crime scene where the shooting took place had the impressions DELAY, DENY DIPOSE, phrases commonly attributed with health insurance companies.
It ignited American’s suppressed frustrations with the Healthcare system which is privately administered and dominated by healthcare insurance companies that are synonymous with what many consider as a rigged system that deny needed medical coverages with high deductibles and limitations that many see as a way to protect their ballooning bottom lines.
Mr. Louigi is currently jailed at at a Pennsylvania detention facility where he was denied bail and awaiting extradition to New York to face murder charges.
