American rapper Tyga who was accused by his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson of physical, mental and emotional abuse will not face a felony charge.
According to TMZ, the 32-year-old rapper’s case has been set for a hearing with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office where he will have a conversation with prosecutors on how to handle disputes in a better way.
Tyga not only has to get educated, but also has to ensure that he does not get into any kind of trouble and abide by the law otherwise his felony charge book might just be reopened.
The rapper was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence earlier this month. He released a statement on his Instagram stories denying the arrest and added that he presented himself to the authorities.
“I want everyone to know that the allegations against me are false I was not arrested. I took myself into the police station and cooperated. I have not been charged with any crime,” read the statement.
Camaryn called the police in distress stating that the rapper had abused her and even shared photos of her bruised face to back up the claims.
Tyga denied the allegations of physically abusing her and gave his side of the story stating that she showed up to his house at 3am screaming and shouting.
However, Camaryn denied the shouting bit and added that she even wanted to leave his residency but he refused to let her go holding her in his house for hours against her will.
“I didn’t show up ‘screaming’ or uninvited. When I tried to leave, he physically assaulted [me] and refused to let me leave for hours,” said Camaryn.
