Fashion pressman Andre Leon Tally and former creative director of US Vogue who worked under Anna Wintour died on Tuesday at White Planes, New York.
The 73-year-old’s literary agent Dave Vigliano confirmed that the journalist was ailing in hospital when he died but the cause of his illness is yet to be established.

Talley will leave a mark in the fashion world as his career spanned six decades. Not only will he be remembered as a fashion powerhouse, but also as the man who pushed for more people of colour to be included in fashion runways.
His death has gutted many people including his long-term friend and designer Diane von Furstenberg who wrote a tribute to him.
“Goodbye darling André … no one saw the world in a more glamorous way than you did,” she wrote.
