The festival began on Friday with Davido as the headliner of the night. He gave an electrifying performance as the last performer of the night after fellow Nigerians Rema, and Ckay performed. Dance hall was also well represented as Popcaan and Koffee had the crowd dancing none stop.
The second day saw Naira Marley, Kizz Daniel, Omah Lay and Patoranking pave the way for Chris Brown who performed ‘Mona Lisa’, an afrobeat song he featured in alongside Lojay and Sarz.

Focalistsic then hit the stage and gave Portugal a taste of South African music, amapiano. He performed his hit song ‘Ke Star’ and had the crowd busting their amapiano moves.
Of course, fans were beyond hyped for Wizkid who closed off the festivities on the second day. He showed love to his fellow headliners Davido and Burna Boy.
The third and final day was literally saved as the best one, well, according to many fans. Why? Well Grammy award winner Burna Boy took the stage as the headliner of course.
He celebrated his 31st birthday on stage with a cake that was lit up with candles and had the crowd sing him happy birthday.
“Many of you think that I’m here to perform, I’m sorry to disappoint you. I’m not here to perform, I’m here to celebrate my birthday. You are all my party goers by fire by force,” he stated.

His team also gave him a champagne shower as they popped bottles of champagne and poured it all over him on stage. The crowd went wild as they celebrated with him and enjoyed his performance.
Before Burna curtain closed this year’s Afro Nation festival, he shared the stage with superstar Megan Thee Stallion who had the girls twerking next to the beach and sticking their tongues out.
Jamaica was once again well represented by Dancehall queen, Shenseea who gave the crowd a sultry performance.
Diamond Platnumz also took the stage and gave Portugal a taste of East African music with his Bongo flavoured music. @afronation
