Bayern Munich defeated Barcelona 3-0 at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night to advance to the round of 16 in the Champions League.
Goals from Sadio Mane , Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Benjamin Pavard saw Bayern clinch top spot in Group C on 15 points with one game to play. Inter Milan finished second.
Barcelona was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the group stage once more as a result of Inter’s victory over Viktoria Plzen at home on Wednesday night. As a result, Barcelona will finish third in their group and will transfer tothe Europa League for the second season in a row.
