With each passing day, brands that are affiliated with Kanye West are cutting ties with him, thanks to the antisemitic comments he spewed during a Fox News interview with Tucker Carlson.
The 45-year-old is now facing the consequences of his actions as various brands are refusing to work with him from Balenciaga, Vogue, CAA (prominent Hollywood talent agency), G.O.O.D Music and Def Jam.
In addition to that, Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez, who Ye hired just a week ago to handle his business matters is no longer working with him. According to sources, Camille told her firm Brown Rudnick that she does not want to work with Ye because of his comments. Brown however asked Ye to retaliate his statement to which he declined.
Kanye is seemingly unbothered by the brands that have dropped him, speaking to the paparazzi, he revealed that he has not lost money so it is not a big deal to him. In fact, he added that the actions taken against him only prove what he said was true.
“I wanna talk about the Jewish comment, it’s actually proven the exact point that I made. So many actors have been bullied behind the scenes,” he said.
Kanye’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian and her family members have issued statements standing with the Jewish community and letting everyone know that hate speech is not excusable.
