Afro Nation festival is back again with a bang as this year’s headline acts will be Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido who will be performing in Portugal in June.
The festival, is set to take place from Wednesday up until Friday. Burna Boy, will be the first headline act who will be joined by other artistes including Popcaan, Ayra Starr, The Composers, Aya Nakamura, Nelson Freitas, Nissi, Camidoh and Oxlade.
Davido will headline Thursday’s performance and he will be joined by Asake, Little Simz, Tayc, Bnxn, Black Sherif, Victony, Ms Banks and Tyla. Wizkid will headline the final day’s performance with American rapper 50 Cent and Booba. They will be joined by Fireboy DML, Sauti Sol, Gyakie, Vege Dream, Gabzy and Soraia Ramos.
South Africa’s amapiano will also be represented as Focalistic, Major League DJs, Uncle Waffles and Scorpion Kings will be performing on various dates.
Last year’s Afro Nation festival in Portugal also featured Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy. The festival was packed by music lovers who came together to celebrate various African musical genres from Afrobeats, Amapiano, RnB, Hip Hop, Dancehall and Afro House.
