Chris Rock has finally addressed the famous Oscars slap that saw him get smacked across the face by Will Smith almost a year ago.

During his Netflix special titled ‘Selective Outrage,’ the comedian saved the last ten minutes of the live show to address what millions of people across the world have been waiting for him to talk about.

“You all know what happened to me, getting smacked by Suge Smith,” Rock said. “It still hurts. I got ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears. But I’m not a victim, baby. You’ll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying … I took that hit like Pacquiao,” said Rock.

The 58-year-old revealed that the slap hurt a lot especially considering that he looked up to Will Smith his whole life and they acted in a couple of movies together. He then added that he watches ‘Emancipation,’ a film about slavery that Smith stars in, just to watch the actor get whipped.

“I love Will Smith, my whole life,” Rock said. “I have rooted for Will Smith my whole life … now I watch ‘Emancipation’ just to see him get whipped.”

He further revealed the reason as to why he did not retaliate at Smith on the Oscars night stating that his parents always told him not to fight in front of white people.

Rock then weighed in on Smith’s marriage to Jada Pinkette Smith stating that she is the person who he should really be mad at since she had cheated on him- referencing the time Jada revealed that she got into an ‘entanglement’ with singer August Alsina.

“His wife was f*****g his son’s friend,” he said. “Everybody here has been cheated on, none of us have ever been interviewed by the person who cheated on us on television.
