Cristiano Ronaldo, who many believe is yet to make an impression in the Saudi Pro-League for Al-Nassr, came out firing against Al-Wehda on Thursday.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored four goals to lead his team to a resounding victory. Ronaldo has now recorded his 61st career hat trick with this poker.
The Portugal international, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, now has 503 goals scored for five different teams stretched across five leagues. He bagged 103 for Manchester United, 311 for Real Madrid, 81 for Juventus, three for Sporting Lisbon, and now has five for Al Nassr.
Ronaldo is only the fifth player in professional football history to reach such heights. With this honor, he now joins legends such as Pele and Ferenc Puskas, having achieved it at his fifth senior club.
Lionel Messi, his counterpart, is still ten goals short of the mark. That will undoubtedly be on Ronaldo’s mind, as the forward is clearly finding his feet in the Saudi Pro League.
