Jonathan Lyndale Kirk professionally known as Dababy was involved in a shooting that happened in his North Carolina compound.
According to TMZ, the rapper caught an intruder on his compound and shot him on the leg for trespassing then called 911. The Troutman Police Department revealed that the 26-year-old man climbed the fence surrounding the property.
Dababy has not filed any charges against the man but the police confirmed that the shooting happened outside his mansion at a football field.
“I can confirm the shooting did not occur inside the residence and that Mr. Kirk was on the property,” said police chief Josh Watson.
The intruder who has not been named yet was taken to hospital immediately the police arrived at the property. They also confirmed that he suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
