David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is currently in mourning as he has lost his son Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned in a swimming pool.
Ifeanyi, is Davido and his fiancé Chioma Rowland’s son.
ifeanyi reportedly drowned in a pool at Davido’s residential home in Banana Island, Lagos. He was immediately rushed to hospital after being pulled out of the water and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Davido and Chioma have remained mute about the situation and are yet to give an official statement.
Nigerian celebrities have since come together to offer support to Davido and his family, posting cryptic messages and sharing words of wisdom.
“My heart can’t take this. This is so painfully unbearable. Chioma and Davido please accept my condolences. No amount of words can comfort your hearts. I am truly sorry for your loss,” said Nollywood actress Rosemary Afuwape.
