Actress Julia Fox has opened up in a TikTok video about why she decided to date rapper Kanye West revealing that she only did it in order to get him off of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s back.
Julia who was accused of dating a famously violent misogynist and anti-Semite posted the 2-minute video to clarify why she decided to hook up with Ye.
Fox revealed that she had been friends with Kim and her sister Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian as the trio would buy clothes from her boutique and resell them. This relationship made them close as Fox describes them as her ‘girls.’
“I’ve always had a love for Kim especially, and even Kourtney especially, Khloe, all of them as much. The big three, those were my girls,” she said.
According to Fox, Ye had been pursuing her and texting her but she was not interested because she finds celebrities to be boring and that nothing good ever comes out of them. However, the ‘Hurricane’ rapper did not give up on her and kept pursuing her.
Julia then agreed to go out with him, but only just so that she could get him off of Kim’s back.
“Oh my God, maybe I can get him off of Kim’s case. Maybe I can distract him and get him to like me and I knew that if anyone could do it, it’s me cause when I set my mind to something I do it,” she added.
The pair had dated from January to February this year but broke up after Kanye publicly pursued his ex-wife Kim and tried getting her back in all ways.
