American rapper and Yeezy founder Kanye West has unfollowed fellow rapper Nicki Minaj after she allegedly referred to him as a clown on stage.
Fans were quick to notice that the ‘Flashing Lights’ hit maker had unfollowed Nicki on Instagram. This may be because Nicki referred to Yeezy as a clown while she was performing on stage at the Essence Festival of Culture.

When their hit song ‘Monster’ was released, she paused mid set “I’m ‘Monster’-ed out, and we don’t f**k with clowns,” she said. Nicki then immediately proceeded to give a shout out to her fans in New Orleans.
It was unclear who she referred to as a clown but seeing as Kanye unfollowed her, it means it probably was directed towards him. Kanye also recently featured in Cardi B’s new single ‘Hot Shit’ which might also be a reason as to why Nicki referred to Yeezy as a clown.

Cardi and Nicki have had a history of beef online and at one point Cardi B wanted to physically fight Nicki at the New York Fashion Week event in 2018. Nicki allegedly said something negative about Cardi’s daughter Kulture and that immediately heated Cardi up who charged at her but was restrained by her security team.

Despite the pair having not taken jabs at each other in years, they have never squashed their long-term beef. Nicki has been known to get pissed off at artistes who work with Cardi after working with her. Therefore, the feud with Kanye could be because he jumped onto Cardi’s new song.
