Kenyan comedian Eunice Wanjiru Njoki has joined in the plea and is using her voice to help Kenyan students who are stuck in Ukraine by urging the government to help get them out.

Mammito shared screenshots of a DM she received from one of her followers who asked her to use her large following to help over 48 students who are stuck in the Ukraine-Poland border.

The sender who is a Kenyan expatriate has allegedly teamed up with other people and together they have tried fighting for the students to leave the country but only four were allowed to cross the border early in the morning.

The sender also revealed that the reason why others have not been allowed to pass is because the Poland government has not received any word from the Kenyan government.

“I can confirm that 4 Kenyans were allowed inside the border earlier this morning at 1am but the rest have all been denied entry due to lack of communication from the Kenyan government to the Polish state,” read the post.

“Time is of the essence and we are fighting a lot of variables such as insufficient funds, harsh climates and an impending war with the Russians,” the post continued.

The comedian has now urged the Kenyan government to act fast and save the students. She also pointed out that it is very wrong for the government to not intervene and save its people.
