A devastating attacking display from Liverpool saw Manchester United beaten 7-0 at Anfield.
Liverpool produced a remarkable performance to record their biggest-ever victory over their arch-rivals and reassert their bid for a top-four finish. It is the first time the Red Devils have lost by seven goals in any competition since that loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers more than 90 years ago.

While the defeat will not impact United’s league position of third place, the result is huge for Liverpool. Having looked like missing out on the top four, they are now chasing Tottenhamdown and seemingly set to climb above Antonio Conte’s team.
The defeat stands as United’s worst ever in the Premier League.
