American rapper Machine Gun Kelly has revealed that he designed his fiancée Megan Fox’s engagement ring with thorns so that it hurts when she takes it off.
The pair sat down with Vogue where they talked about their recent engagement which happened on 11th January. Fox was completely oblivious of the fact that their engagement had become a hit everywhere and had many people talking.
Fox showed off her ring to the interviewer while MGK explained the whole concept revealing that Fox’s ring is a thoroughbred Columbian emerald which is straight from the mine. The ring comes apart to form two rings which are held together by magnets.
“And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. Soif she tries to take it off, it hurts,” added MGK who also said that love is pain alluding to why he added thorns to the ring.
The engagement took place next to a banyan tree which seems to be sentimental to them as MGK described it as ‘the branches they fell in love under.’
MGK recorded a video of the entire engagement which Fox posted on her Instagram. MGK said it was only revealed to control the narrative.
Fox also revealed that they sealed their engagement by drinking each other’s blood.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked though hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” read the post.
