The long wait is over for all Black Panther fans as Marvel Studios on Sunday released the teaser for their hit sequel Black Panther, Wakanda Forever on their social media platforms.
The trailer starts off with Nigerian singer Tems’ sultry vocals as she sings Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman No Cry’ which then blends in with Kendrick Lamar’s ‘We Gon’ be alright’ hit song.

The sequel which was first released in 2018, featured the late Chadwick Boseman, who was the lead role and played King T’Challa, the leader and guardian of Wakanda, a fictional Country in Africa. The trailer, paid tribute to T’Challa as his image was painted on a wall in one of the scenes.

Marvel had previously revealed that they will not be recasting King T’Challa, a decision that sparked mixed reactions among fans. It is unclear who will take over the throne and be the new guardian of Wakanda but rumor had it that Shuri, T’Challa’s sister would carry that mantle.

Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright and Angela Bassett, who featured in the original movie and are in the soon to be released second movie, are heard paying tribute to their king in the trailer.
The movie is set to premier in four months, on 11th of November 2022.
