New York City is planning on going all out for the late hip hop legend Notorious B.I.G as he will be honored for his 50thbirthday on May 21.
Among the attendees will be his mother, Voletta Wallace, and children, C.J. and Tyanna Wallace. His ex-girlfriend Lil Kim will also attend Biggie’s birthday bash.

Reportedly, the party will have several activities and events to kickstart at the Empire State building.
The Empire State building also sent out a tweet confirming the same and revealing that there will be a life size holographic avatar of the rapper on the 80th floor. The event will also feature never-before-seen Biggie merchandize that will only be available at the Empire State building.
“Celebrate the 50th birthday of a NYC legend: @thenotoriousbig, this Friday & Saturday. Together with Biggie’s estate, we’ll have a life-size holographic avatar of B.I.G. on the 80th Floor, available for guest viewing and photographs from 4PM-9PM,” read the tweet.
The celebration will not end there as the ‘Juicy’ rapper will be celebrated in Brooklyn at the Barclay Center with a video montage of him at the entrance of the venue.
Bad Boy Records, the record label that Biggie was signed to is also planning on releasing a vinyl version of Biggie’s diamond selling album ‘Life After Death’. The record label is also set to upgrade his music videos on YouTube.
A super deluxe box will also be on sale consisting of 8-LPs, a booklet with rare photos from the album cover shoot, liner notes by Sheldon Pearce, and exclusive reflections from members of the team who worked on the original album.
Biggie will also have his very own non-fungible token (NFT) which will be based on the rapper’s likeness. His mother Voletta shared that she is excited to be working with OneOf to memoralize her son.
