‘Lift Me Up,’ is a song that stems from the Marvel movie; ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ It was written by Rihanna, Tems, the movie director Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa, the Black Panther.

The Oscar nominated song was however snubbed as ‘NaatuNaatu’ from the movie ‘RRR’ took home the award. Other songs nominated for the Best Original Song categories include: ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It Like a Woman’, ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘This Is a Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once.’
