Kirsnick Khari Ball, better known by his stage name Takeoff, funeral service will be held in Atlanta this coming Friday at State Farm Arena.

The plans were revealed by Rev. Jesse Curney, III of New Mercies Christian Church. Takeoff and his family are said to be frequent and faithful church attendees.

“I was really sad to hear the news. Kirsnick has been a faithful member since he was ten years old. He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community as a whole.”

Take’s homegoing funeral arena is capable of holding up to 20,000 people, which is more than enough to hold his friends and family.

Takeoff was shot and killed on November 1 in Texas. He was together with his uncle Quavo and their friends playing a game of dice when an altercation broke out between them and another camp.

Autopsy reports reveal that he was shot twice, once on the head and the other on his arm. The police are still investigating the case and are yet to find the killer. They have also revealed a challenge in being able to do so as the hip hop community has an anti-snitching policy.

Celebrities such as Beyonce, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, Drake and others have come out to send their condolences to his family and share the deeply personal details of their memories and moments with the late Migos rapper.
