Tremaine Aldon Neverson better known as Trey Songz, has denied allegations of repeatedly punching a woman in the face at a New York bowling alley in October.
The New York Police Department revealed that the woman filed a report revealing that the singer reportedly punched her in the face in a bowling alley bathroom. The woman who is unknown, also revealed that Trey dragged her by her hair.
According to TMZ, there is an active case for the accusations made against Trey and the police are interested in talking to him and hearing his side of the story.
“A source close to the investigation informs us that Trey Songz has been cooperative with authorities and expects that when all the evidence is reviewed, he will be exonerated. This is another instance where those involved try to blame the celebrity with hopes of getting fame or riches,” said Trey’s legal representative, Mitchel Schuster.
This is not the first time Trey has been accused of violence against women. In 2018, he was accused by a woman named Andrea Buera of chocking her, punching her in the face and knocking her down. She revealed that she is hopeful that he would change.
Trey Songz has also been accused of sexual harassment by fellow celebrities such as Keke Palmer and Dylan Gonzalez.
The singer has denied all allegations revealing that he has been falsely accused and that the victims involved are attempting to use his name for fame and their own personal gain.
