One third of the rap group Migos, Quavo Huncho has reflected on the famous elevator altercation that took place between him and his ex-girlfriend Saweetie.

Speaking to GQ, Quavo revealed that he is not violent towards women and that he does not support or condone such behaviour.

“Never once in a million years want to do any harm to any woman, period. I don’t like what people think,” he said. “When they saw the elevator thing they thought it was abusive, something crazy,” he added.

He was actually labelled as an abusive man towards women online after the video leaked around the time the pair broke up over a year ago.

In the video, Saweetie pushes the ‘Lamb Talk’ hit maker and grabs what seems to be a game console. He then rushes into the elevator dragging her with him despite her clearly resisting him. They both slam the wall then hit the floor and Saweetie is left sitting on the ground while Quavo gets up.

Saweetie however addressed the video revealing that the incident happened a long time ago and they moved on from that incident.

“This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on,” she said.
