Tanzania’s bongo star Alikiba, has cancelled his anticipated ‘Only One King’ USA tour after testing positive for Covid-19.
“I’m truly saddened and devastated to say that I have tested positive for Covid-19,” he revealed.
The musician shared the devastating news via his Instagram account in a statement. He let his fans know that the health of his team, his band and his fans in general is very important to him and that he would not want to put them at risk of getting Covid-19.
“Hereby we are forced to postpone and reschedule to the soonest date possible. Nothing is more important to me than the health of my band, crew and you my fans,” read the statement.
The tour was set to kick off on 2nd September in Washington DC and end on 1st October in Houston, Texas. Other states he was to perform at are: Minneapolis, Kansas, Des Moines, Atlanta, Lexington, Manchester, Chicago and Los Angeles.
