US 🇺🇸 President Joe Biden warns of Russian cyber attacks.
The Biden administration warned companies in the US that Russia 🇷🇺 is planning cyber attacks against the country’s critical infrastructure.
The president issued statement noted that “evolving intelligence” showed Russia is “exploring options for potential cyberattacks.”
This is seen as a response to US sanctions and aid to Ukraine’s 🇺🇦 war efforts in resisting Russia’s unprovoked war of choice.
Anne Neuberger, the Deputy National Security Adviser for Cyber and Emerging Technology advised companies, public and private institutions to beef up their systems, add multifactor authentication, patch up systems against obvious vulnerabilities, reinforce data storage, run drills and work in tandem with federal authorities fortify their systems.
