Jada Pinkette Smith, Will Smith’s wife and the reason why he slapped comedian Chris Rock across the face has finally addressed the famous Oscars slap on her show ‘Red Table Talk’.
The mother of two was discussing her hair loss condition, alopecia and revealed that she is planning on using her platform to enlighten people on what the condition is as well as give people who are struggling with it the opportunity to talk about it.
Jada stated that she hopes that Rock and her husband can talk and settle their differences since the world needs them both.
“Now about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” she said
Jada also made it clear that her marriage to Will is going strong and that they intend to stay together regardless of what life throws at them.
“Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together,” she concluded.
Earlier on in the year, Will Smith smacked his fellow actor Chris Rock across the face for on stage at the Academy Awards for cracking a joke about her hair loss condition.
He then sat down and repeatedly yelled at Rock to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth to which Rock agreed to.
