Actor and TV show host Nick Cannon has officially welcomed his twelfth child with Instagram model Alyssa Scott on Wednesday.
Alyssa broke the news on Thursday in an emotional video, shared via her social media platforms revealing that the pair have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Halo Marie Cannon.
This comes after they lost their first-born son, Zen Cannon who died as a result of brain tumor, just 5 months after being born.
“December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever,” read the caption.
She went on to add that Nick was present in the delivery room and he immediately shouted out loud that their baby’s gender is female just as she came out.
“I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine.”
Halo is Alyssa’s third child and Nick’s twelfth. Despite having a lot of children, Nick tries to ensure that he is present for every single one of them as he revealed that he spent all night traveling on Christmas in order for him to see all of his children and spend some time with them.
