With election day looming nearer and nearer, Africa’s most populous country, Nigeria 🇳🇬 votes in a few days – on February 25th.

Can Nigerians learn from the past elections and resist RELIGIOUS divisions and TRIBALISM?

The country has many issues that need to be dealt with, such as high unemployment, insecurity, and ranks high on the CORRUPTION INDEX.

18 presidential candidates are contesting, but three have a realistic chance to win according to opinion polls, i.e., a fresh face with the youth backing – Peter Obi of the Labor Party (LP).

The other two candidates are the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, who is 70 years old and is one of the richest politicians with an estimated net worth $4 billion dollars.

The other main contender is the main opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar is 76 years old and has an estimated net worth of $1.8 billion dollars.
