Nigerian singer Omah Lay has shared his easy experience working with American based Canadian megastar Justin Bieber.
In an interview, Omah Lay revealed that he met Bieber via DM and that Bieber did the sliding. Bieber reached out to Omah in 2020 after the ‘Understand’ hit maker had released his first project, ‘Get Layd’. The two then followed each other and instantly became friends after.
One would expect it to be difficult for artistes to work with A list artistes such as Bieber, but according to Omah, it was quite seamless and that it was the easiest collaboration he has had to date.
When asked how their song ‘Attention’ was created, Omah Lay revealed that it was such an easy process that did not take much time.
“I just sent a song, he loved the song and sent back a verse,” said Omah Lay.
‘Attention’, stems from Omah’s latest album, ‘Boy Alone’ released on July 15, 2022. The album just like Omah’s previous music has been well received by fans who have enjoyed the singer’s body of work.
This is not the first time Bieber has collaborated with an African superstar, as the singer jumped on Wizkid and Tems’ ‘Essence’ remix.
