RAYVANNY BECOMES FIRST NOMINATED AFRICAN ARTISTE FOR TOP SPANISH AWARD

Tanzania’s Rayvanny has crushed yet another milestone as he has become the very first African Artiste to be nominated for the Premios Juventud awards, a top Spanish award ceremony.

The bongo star scored the nomination for his hit song ‘Mama Tetema’ featuring Maluma under the OMG Collaboration category.

Rayvanny shared the exciting news via his Instagram account where he expressed his joy and urged his fans to go vote for him so that he can take the prestigious award home.

The award show is set to take place at José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum of Puerto Rico, on July 22. Other nominees include: Karol G, J Balvin and Daddy Yankee.

‘Mama Tetema’ has garnered over 26 million views on YouTube, becoming one of Rayvanny’s top performing songs. The song was number one on The Billboard Hot 100 Mexico charts. He was also the first East African artiste to perform at the MTV EMA awards.
