Jamaican artiste Grace Latoya ‘Spice’ Hamilton, has come out to reveal that she suffered a damaged hernia, which led her into sepsis.
Spice who had gone mute on social media as of last week, made the shocking revelation on her Instagram account, where she shared a picture of herself and a long caption, clearing the air about her health status.
“Thank you Jesus for saving my life. Hey Besties I’m in a better space today to properly update you on my current health situation. I suffered a damaged hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery,” she stated.
The 40-year-old singer wanted to verify on what had truly happened to her since there were rumours that she had a heart attack, was in a coma and even died.
“However I’m still recovering from what really happened so thanks so much for all the prayers and concerns, please take great care of yourself, eat, live, love laugh, like it’s your last day, I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH,” she added.
Spice who was booked and scheduled to perform in Cayman Island, postponed the show in order to focus on her health and make a full recovery but promised to perform at a later date.
