Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz, has revealed that he has finally bought a private jet, making him the very first East African musician to do so.
Speaking to DW Africa’s Josey Machachi, he talked about making music, his family and of course his brand-new jet.
Back in May, the singer shared his plans of buying a private jet before the end of the year, but little did the whole world know that he was finalizing the plans.
The jet is now part of his portfolio of his expensive ‘toys’ as he had recently purchased a brand-new zero mileage Rolls Royce Cullinan in Dubai for over $600,00.
According to Diamond, he has to make expensive purchases as it shows his value and makes him look like the real deal.
“Especially for someone like me coming from the streets, sometimes I feel like buying a million-dollar car. What for? I have to do it because they will not value you if you don’t. Someone else will look like the real deal,” said Diamond.
Simba is also known for rocking a variety of expensive, diamond covered jewelry which he revealed cost him over $250,000.
