BOKO HARAM COMMANDER SURRENDERS TO NIGERIAN SECURITY FORCES IN BORNO

NIGERIA- As part of Operation Hadin Kai, the Nigerian military has captured Khaid Malam Ali and Bunu Umar, two senior members of Jam’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihd, also known as Boko Haram.

A raid coordinated by the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, terrorist group on July 5, 2023, in Bula Alhaji Garwaye near Bama LGA, resulted in the dislodgement of Ali and his fighters.

Boko Haram fighters, including their women and children, were killed by ISWAP, according to the DAILY POST.

Due to the fear of battlefield elimination, Ali laid down his arms as a commander of the terrorists in Sabil Huda and Njumia.

The ISWAP reportedly drove him and his fighters from their positions after they planned a raid on Boko Haram hideout in Bula Alhaji Garwaye in Sambisa Near Bama LGA on July 5, 2023.

It has been reported that several Boko Haram fighters, including their wives and children, have been killed.
