Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea featuring three teenage debutants scored two late goals to advance to their third semi-final in 11 months in their EFL cup quarterfinals against Brentford.

Sweden defender Pontus Jansson broke the deadlock before Jorginho’s penalty confirmed and sealed the blue’s victory and advance to their first semi-final in three years.

Liverpool came from behind in a thrilling match at Anfieldagainst Leicester city to beat the foxes on penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw, sealing the red’s advance to their first Carabao cup semi-finals since 2017.

Jamie Vardy’s early brace gave the foxes an early 2-0 lead and James Madisson’s shot made it 3-1 in response to Chamberlain’s goal against them. 

Diogo Jota’s 68th minute goal pulled the reds back into the game as Minamino Takumi scored the equalizer in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Conte’s Tottenham triumphed 2-1 over Westham United, with the goals being scored in the first half.

Steven Bergwijn teamed up with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and scored home his first goal of the season after 29 minutes.

Jarrod Bowen’s ingenuity at the goal area led to him scoring the leveler for Westham as Lucas Moura scored the winning goal after a nice setup by Bergwin.

The semifinals will pit Chelsea against their London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool against Arsenal.
