Former Cameroon international Samuel Et’oo was elected on Saturday as the President of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot).
The four-time African Footballer of the Year garnered 43 votes, ahead of the incumbent president Seidou Mbombo Njoya with 31 votes.

It was to be a seven man contest for the top seat but five candidates dropped their candidature on the morning of the elections.
The former Barcelona and Inter talisman has promised a wide range of reforms to help flourish the sport. He pledged the construction of at least 10 stadia during his reign.
He will be at the helm when the country will host the final phase of the Africa Cup of Nations from January 9 to February 7, 2022.
