PORTUGAL- Miguel Angel Falcao de Oliveira is a well-known MotoGP racer and sports legend. Born in Portugal. At the 2015 Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix, Miguel became the first Portuguese to win the World Championship.
The love of his life is Andreia Pimenta, his step-sister from his dad’s second marriage. A flame had been burning between Miguel and Andreia since they met when he was 13; they shared a very emotional bond that didn’t die.
In an interview, Miguel expressed his feelings for Andreia, “At some point, we realized that it was more than a friendship; it’s a very strong love. We were going to get married this year, but that weekend I had a race, and we had to postpone it to the next year.”
A powerful friendship developed between them at the age of 13 that grew into a relationship over time. They started dating and kept their romance a secret for eleven years.
In a post on Miguel’s Instagram, the couple finally confirmed their relationship, “This weekend we made the most important curve of our lives. We sealed our love through marriage and we want to share it with you,”
“I feel happy and lucky to share my life with my wife who is my other half. Thank you all.”
Following their wedding in 2021, they recently announced they were expecting their first child! Both the community and their loved ones showed them tremendous support.
MotoGP’s official page also shared their joy, “We’re so happy for you and can’t wait to have a new member in the paddock.”
In a conversation with Marca, Miguel’s father spoke about the couple, “I’m happy that my son is getting married to the woman of his life,”
